กำชับ

v. to reiterate, to direct explicitly (as a command), to urge, to persist in demanding, to insist on obedience, to insist firmly, to urge emphatically, to make two contiguous or adjoining surfaces or edges fit tightly or closely together.

เธอกำชับแล้วกำชับอีกให้ผมมาหาเธอ She reiterated (repeated) again and again that I must visit her once more.

เขากำชับกำชาบุตรชายของเขาให้กลับบ้านก่อนเที่ยงวัน He emphasized to his son that the boy must return home before noon. เขากำชับให้ลูกน้องของเขาพักผ่อนให้สบาย He specially directed his subordinates to take a good rest. เขากำชับให้ข้าพเจ้าดูวรรคท้ายของคำสั่ง He enjoined me to pay particular attention to the last paragraph of the order.
